JIMKI (Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Kedokteran Indonesia) is a national scientific journal published under the auspices of Badan Analisis dan Pengembangan Ilmiah Nasional – Ikatan Senat Mahasiswa Kedokteran Indonesia (BAPIN-ISMKI), through its Journal and Publication division.

JIMKI serves as a platform for disseminating scientific research, literature reviews, case reports, and other scholarly contributions in medicine and health sciences, particularly those produced by medical students.

Journal Management

The journal's publication activities are managed by the JIMKI editorial team under the organizational coordination of BAPIN-ISMKI.

The journal management team is responsible for coordinating editorial administration, manuscript processing, publication scheduling, communication with authors and reviewers, and maintenance of the journal's publishing platform.

Editorial Responsibilities

The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board are responsible for overseeing the editorial and peer-review processes, evaluating manuscripts, maintaining publication ethics, and ensuring the scientific quality of published articles.

Editorial decisions should be based on scientific merit, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, peer-review findings, and compliance with applicable ethical standards.

The journal follows its established publication policies and refers to relevant recommendations from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
